Bouldering and Climbing @ Highland Park

In June we hosted our first event for our Explore Your Parks Series, kicking it off at Highland Park! GR Boulder Project hosted a kids climb in the morning, a climbing clinic to follow, and a two part climbing competition in the afternoon. Climbers could take home a pair of climbing shoes, courtesy of GR Outside, and competitors enjoyed free food from Daddy Pete’s BBQ! Once the competition was completed, winners took home their prizes, and spectators and climbers alike grabbed a drink, sat on the grass and listened to some live music. This event was a great way to kick off our summer event series!
