As our community gets ready to vote on Tuesday, November 5th, we wanted to learn more about mayoral and city commissioner candidates and their plans for Grand Rapids’ parks, trees, and trails. Friends of Grand Rapids Parks does not endorse any candidate or campaign.

If eligible to vote in the November 5th election, make sure you are registered to vote ahead of time! [Source: Michigan.gov]

  • Registering October 21 or sooner (15+ days before the election), voters can register online, by mail, or in person.
  • Registering October 22 or later (within 14 days of election, and on Election Day), voters may only register by visiting their local clerk’s office to register in person with proof of residency documentation.
