Our Community Forestry Project Manager, Becky Pobst, was recently selected to join the Green Communities Leadership Institute’s 2024 Cohort.

The Green Communities Leadership Institute was developed by natural resource professionals who serve in diverse leadership roles across the US. This shared leadership opportunity brings together bright leaders. It creates the time, space, and experience for these leaders to grow their confidence and skills to advance impactful work in their communities, organizations, and industries. Learn more about the 28 members of the cohort and GCLI here.

Becky will be joining the third cohort of the Green Communities Leadership Institute in 2024. She has attended other leadership courses in the past, but felt that they pushed a personality that didn’t fit into her particular brand of leadership. GCLI not only focuses on helping their attendees grow and develop their personal leadership styles, they do so with the specific goals and challenges in green industries. Becky will join 27 other professionals from all over the United States at various stages in their careers to learn how to best support and advocate for trees, our community, and the City of Grand Rapids.

Congratulations, Becky!
