We’re excited to plant trees with you at ArborFest 2026, brought to you in collaboration with the City of Grand Rapids and Garfield Park Neighborhood Association!
ArborFest 2026 is our 11th annual spring planting event! With the support of community volunteers, we’ll plant 250 trees in Garfield Park and Southtown April 24 and 25.
Since 2015, we’ve planted over 4,000 trees through this initiative at our annual planting events, ArborFest and Neighborwoods. While our goal is to help the City of Grand Rapids reach 40% tree canopy, we also know that the tree canopy in the city isn’t evenly distributed. Our work focuses on planting trees in neighborhoods that need the canopy the most, using the power of community to celebrate the strides we make together.
