Do you represent a business bidding on construction or goods and services projects with the City of Grand Rapids? You can receive a 1% bid discount and support Friends of Grand Rapids Parks by participating in select Friends programs!

Bid discounts allow your original bid amount to be discounted by a certain percentage for the purpose of bid evaluation and will be used in the evaluation of awarding to the low responsive, responsible bidder. However, the successful bidder will be paid the original contract amount.

For example, if your company bids on a $100,000 project with a 1% bid discount for working with Friends, the bid would be evaluated at $99,000 and paid at $100,000.
