If you like talking to people and have an eye for detail, volunteering with Friends staff at Community Climb at Highland Park could be for you! We have three open spots for event volunteers.
As a volunteer during the Community Climb event, you will:
- Arrive early to help set up the registration tent
- Help with registration and participant check-in
- Make sure folks know to check in with the GR Boulder Project to sign waivers, and to get further activity instructions
- Make sure folks know they can help themselves to shaved ice, and direct them to where the shaved ice vendor is set up for the event.
- Stay a little late to help with taking the tents, tables, etc. down after the event is done, and loading them into a staff member’s vehicle
Once all participants are checked in, you are welcome to participate in the climbing activities! We’ll also have snacks for you to enjoy during this event, which we know is during dinner time.
