During this volunteer opportunity, we’ll be doing woody invasive species removal, which will involve use of hand tools and herbicide.

About Conservation Crew:
Conservation Crew meets regularly to improve the ecological health of Grand Rapids Parks. Beyond helping the parks, volunteers will:
- Learn more about the natural world.
- Learn more about how to steward West Michigan’s natural features.
- Get exercise for your physical and mental health.
- Explore new parks and new spaces within your favorite parks.
- Spend time with others that share your conservation values.
This is a flexible position with an open invite. Volunteers can come every week or once a year.
