Let’s prune some young trees! During this tree-pruning workday, will meet near Neland Ave. Church (they’re not affiliated with this event, but the location is a good meeting spot). From there, we’ll walk to young trees throughout the neighborhood to do structural pruning. All tools and training provided by Friends arborist staff.
Volunteers should anticipate walking about one mile during this workday.
- Be ready to learn how to use a variety of tree-pruning tools
- Close-toed shoes are required
- Please bring any snacks, water, and sunscreen you anticipate needing
