We kicked off our 2025 fall planting season with Neighborwoods on September 26th and 27th. We planted 200 more trees during these two days, gave away 40 trees, had 199 amazing volunteers, and logged 600+ volunteer hours for the Oakdale and Boston Square Neighborhoods in 2025.
Stay tuned for Neighborwoods 2026 dates!

We’re deeply grateful to the MLK Park Neighborhood and King Park Neighbors for their incredible support. This year’s success shows what we can achieve together:
Special thanks to Tiffany Fant (Mo Photography), Yummy in the Tummy for community celebration lunch, Wimee from PBS, and our friends at Miigwich who blessed the land and shared traditional corn soup with all participants.
Local media highlighted Neighborwoods’ unprecedented turnout and impact. Coverage focused on record-breaking neighborhood participation, successful tree distribution, and strong volunteer support that made last year’s event exceptional and will continue to carry through our 2025 event.
